3 1/2 stars Amazingly well made for a director’s debut film. 4 1/2 stars for a debut film.I agree with a allot of folks – that if you think to much about the decisions of the characters, (in particular, the shuttle driver) there are some plot directions that don’t gel. So just don’t think about it. Otherwise Shuttle delivers for what it is – a taut, very dark, sometimes gruesome, action, suspenseful cat and mice thriller. It has lots of atmosphere, very good photography, an appropriate soundtrack and some really excellent performances – especially the shuttle driver and the two lead actresses. The actor who played the overly wimpy accountant was bit much though. So other then one odd performance and the already mentioned plot holes – Shuttle is a very good suspenseful, edge of your seat film that has lots of twists and turns. I would not call Shuttle a thrill ride due to its very very dark nature and one of the most down and hopeless endings in history – a real heart breaker,
NASA is looking for a volunteer to fly the Shuttle back, anyone interested?
You will go up on the rescue Shuttle. Shuttle Auth Then you will have 15 minutes of training and given a high tech fire extinguisher, a last meal and physical examination to determine if you are at risk for heart failure. Don't worry the Shuttle practically flys itself.

got a badmitton set and these shuttles.
best shuttles i have ever used.
durable light and great to play with.
still using the first one and cant believe its still in perfect condition.
if i ever make it through them all i’ll be back for more.
This is a very good shuttle if you are looking for durability. The flight is very near to a feather shuttle, but it falls just a bit short because there is nothing like the weight distribution of a feather shuttle from which you get better control and feel.
I would recommend this shuttle for beginner to intermediate level players who are looking for recreation, as well as, good value for the money they spend.
Good quality shuttles, but tend to be a bit brittle after a good hitting. It should last you for atleast 10-15 games, if not more. It is CERTAINLY a good substitute for regular feather shuttle cocks – but not the best in the market yet !!!
The shuttles tend to be more heavier than the regular Mavis 350 / 300 series, but are worth it’s weight
the first real shuttlecocks we have purchased. We had the ones that came with the backyard set. These provide a true stable flight, unless of course there is wind. A little bit slower in speed than I expected compared to the cheap plastic variety.
An update to the Classic Shuttle. I like this model much better than the newer, fancier models–no doors to open or close, eveything within easy reach. The surroundView technology allows driving one monitor from the internal video board, and a second monitor from a compatible video card in the video slot. It works well, and the drivers are all Windows standards, so installation and upgrade to Windows 7 was no problem.
This is a great barebones system; I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a quite, compact system. Not quite for performance enthusiasts, however.
Pros:
Really cheap for what you get!
Excellent upgrade path from AM2 System (CPU & DDR2 memory re-usable)
Very well thought out case layout and cooling characteristics
Lots of USB and audio connectors
Really really compact and quiet (but not silent)
Quite decent power (runs Nvidia 8800 GT, 95 Watt CPU, and SB Audigy 2 EX, no prob)
Cons:
PCIe port on outside with about 15mm clearance between board and side of case. Therefore, no fancy video card coolers or 2 slot cards
DDR3 memory not supported
105 Watt CPU TPD max, so the best CPU I think you can get right now is Phenom II X4 95W 3.0GHz AM3 (not 125W version!)
The integrated video and audio work, but my old Nvidia 8800 GT clearly outperforms the embedded ATI video.
The BIOS does not support ISOLINUX and will not boot on a Linux install disk.
The workaround is to boot on a USB drive using a SBM (Smart Boot Manager) image which allows you to hand off initialization procedures to the CDROM after initial startup.
There is a VGA and a DVI port. These are not separate devices. If you are doing dual monitors you’ll need to install a separate video interface card.
On the up side:
low noise
compact package
modern appearance.
I really like this computer case. The finish is very pretty, and fits in well with my stereo components (I bought this to create a PC to connect to my TV). As long as you stay within the stated power requirements, everything will be fine. I especially love the CPU cooling system; the bracket is much easier to install and use than almost any other CPU cooler I’ve ever bought, and it clearly will work better. It is quiet (I watch streamed tv with it, and am never aware of any noise coming from it) and has lots of ports. I plugged in my own video card, so I can’t comment on the integrated video; I assume it sucks because all integrated video sucks.
The main cons of this type of unit relate directly to its size. If you hope to have a super gaming rig, look elsewhere. The power supply is not beefy enough to put in a powerful video card, nor is there physical room for one. If you want a lot of drives, look elsewhere as you can fit two 3.5 inch drives and a 5.25 inch drive.
The biggest annoyance for me was the really, really bright front power light. It drove me nuts when I was trying to watch TV streamed from the net. I ended up cutting the cable to it as I couldn’t easily figure out how to do it less destructively.
When putting together a system using the case, make sure you stay within the power constraints for the CPU and any video care you might add. Size of any device is an issue, so make sure they will fit before you buy them.
I’m really happy with this little system and would recommend it.
These are nice small light weight shuttles and in my opinion that makes them perfect for two shuttle tatting. When I’m using two shuttles at once, one of them is dangling off my pinkie finger. (not real comfortable with the larger metal shuttles available)I also think they are kinda pretty. The only complaint I have is that I would have prefer a hook on the end instead of the pick, but after a little bit of practice I’m able to use the pick just fine.
This was exactly want I wanted. The description was perfect and the cost was great.
I bought this for a home theatre PC. I reused the IDE hard drive and DVD from my previous PC. Very good quality product, easy to assemble. The video on this unit is very good. I am very happy with this barebones kit and have not experienced any issues except that I have not been able to get the DVD drive installed so that the button on the Shuttle case opens the drive. I think I just need to play with it a bit. I would definately purchase this again. Also, I am very happy with Tigerdirect. They are very quick to ship (I receive items the next day) and everything is as expected.
My son loves flying this space shuttle all over the house and loves the little astronaut guys as well! Plays with them all the time!
My older son got this for his little brother (age 3) for Christmas. Little guy was thrilled and plays with it lots. He especially loves that the cargo doors of the shuttle open and close, that it’s a decent size, heavy duty die-cast metal, and that the set came with little astronaut guys. I’m not giving it 5 stars, because the retractable wheels of the space shuttle are hard to open and keep open, which has resulted in some frustration. Otherwise a very worthwhile toy that I would recommend to others.
Saw a previous review on the construction of the toy, which made me choose it for by 5 year old. It is a great little replica, and a lot like one my brother had when we were little. My son loves the space men, too.
Unfortunately, the doors on the shuttle, the arm that comes out of the shuttle and the landing gear are all plastic, not die case. The doors don’t close tight to each other either, and the arm detaches easily (read: will be lost soon). So, I am not sure about the longevity of the toy, but he does love it. So does my 3 year old.
it was sturdy, contained enough information for my 3 1/2 grandson to enjoy and play with. good for the money.
