Complementing Articles On Misc Droids

Pros:
- Well constructed
- Spacious. Has as much storage space as some saddle bags.

Cons:
- Not good for a Droid.
- Hard to keep completely upright. It’s weight makes it lean to one side and the velcro straps just don’t cut it.

Like a previous review says, it’s hard to turn the Droid on when it’s in its slot because there are no front facing buttons. I imagine that the iPhone would work fine since it has the Home button to turn it on. I did find an app on the Android market that keeps the screen on when certain apps are running (like My Tracks), so there are workarounds.


I received a 1099 MISC from my previous employer for training my replacement, how would I report this?
I started a new job in January 2010. However, I agreed to work Misc droids for two-three extra weeks part time to help train my eventual replacement at my previous job. It came out to around $1,100. I was sent a 1099 MISC as nonemployee compensation. Can I consider the "Training" as other income or would I have to report as self-employment? The latter of the two I would have to pay self-employment taxes on.
