This is a great set. I have the Hoth Rebel Base and it goes really well with it. But it is rather expensive for only about 150 pieces. It comes with great figures and the Ton Ton is great but there should have been either more pieces or it should have cost less. The base is okay but I would rather have had more guys or a snow speeder. Well here are my pros and cons
Pros.
Great figures,
Good turret gun and snowtrooper gun,
Ton Ton,
Cons.
Not enough pieces,
Should have had something besides a little base,
Well I still love this set. There are still some cons but over all it is one of the best Lego Star Wars sets that they have come out with that is still fairly cheap.
I would recommend it to any of my friends especially if you can get one of the new battle packs, either snowtrooper or rebel trooper.


I found a lot of original Star Wars action figures, how much might someone want for them?
I have Princess Leia, an Imperial, C-3PO, R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Boba Fett, Base hoth a Hoth base soldier, 4 Ewoks, the Queen, and the blue droid on the base in Hoth. How much might someone pay for them IF i decide to sell them?sorry, i meant "how much might someone want to pay for them?"and the action figures are in VERY good condition, i also have Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and the Milenium Falcon somewhere around my house

    This clone trooper is cool but he has alot of wires and things on him so he looks weird. He is stil poseable in some places He has a tiny blaster but needs another! But he looks like a pilot and I dont have a spaceshp.

    yessss,is finally happen a new at-at driver, this figure is a killer , hasbro really took care in the sculping of this caracter,with spectacular proportions, 10 articulation points,a nice paint job, and details by the docen.Overall the wave 2 is amazing, my advice is get then while you can, do have a look for general veers he is one of the 3 new sculps in the series, you wont regret it

    But well worth the money. Sharp deco, great sculpting, and decent articulation. I’m not a huge fan of the semi-bent articulation with the arms, but it works fine here.

    Note: This isn’t as much a product review as it is a public service announcement on price/availability of this set.

    I agree with the person below, everyone should know that shop.lego.com recently added this set the the american product list direct from their lego site, so you no longer have to store hunt, or pay overpriced online prices to find it. It is going for [...] there (plus shipping and tax of course). This particular set contains alot of quality figures including a couple that are exclusive to this set, and it also contains the updated version of the rebel snow speeder seen in The Empire Strikes Back. The “echo” base elements themselves aren’t spectacular, but will be fun for any younger lego enthusiest to play with. For anyone out there following the 2009 lego releases… I believe this was the set mentioned for the American “Lego Hoth” set release, even though technically it was released abit earlier in stores. The price and peice count matches. It just seems they wanted to release it storewide first, likely in an attempt to get store Christmas sales up. That also helps explain why stores like Toys R Us was selling it for [...] dollars… and now lego.com is selling it for [...]. Now that that’s over, hopefully all the “LEGO scalpers” out there will drop their prices out there some since people can get it at the price they SHOULD be able to have it at via lego.com. I’m all for making money on collectables, but c’mon, twice the value for a set thats still in production? Gotta look out for my lego/star wars fans alittle better than that!

    While not the most complex to build, not the largest or even most exciting Star Wars Lego set, this was an awesome addition to have in the collection.

    WOW!This set has hard to find mini-figers. I like the snowspeeder the turret and the probe droid.Why did you put k-po droid instead of c-3po? Good job lego!

    I bought this for my 12 year old son, and for the first time he couldn’t build the entire set in one day, he loved the intricacy and several very cool figures and characters. Great for Star Wars and Lego fans.

    This set is cool but the tauntan is small.The outpost is well designed.The trench is small and can fit only two mini-figuers.Overall great set. Good job lego!

    I LOVE this Lego toy. Although it is outstandingly fun, has the FIRST EVER Lego Tauntaun, and is my most enjoyable Lego set, It is VERY, VERY breakable. Good stuff: Tauntaun is almost as fun as the rest of the set, can blast shot Lego men into the air with the press of a Lego piece, and can sometimes shoot bullets up to 2 feet.(When I tried) Bad stuff: Tauntaun is hard to put together, big-time breakable, and there is 3 pieces on the bad guy machine gun that are just SO hard to put on and SO hard to keep on. Buuuut, overall, I would recommend it a ToPs Lego toy!!!!!
