If you like the artwork of Star Wars the Clone Wars you’ll love this. It’s a great guide and my 10 year old who loves Star Wars really likes this. I think it’s fantastic graphics, having grown up with Star Wars I really like it myself.
Do you think i have a good Video Game, DVD, and Console Collection?

THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK, ME BEING A HUGE SCIFI FAN THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST STARWARS BOOKS EVER WRITTEN. I WAS GLAD TO GIVE IT FIVE STARS.
Besides being extremely fun for Star Wars fans to see their heroes represented in art, this book, like Dorman’s book, is great for art students because it shows the painting’s process from concept to live model to finished work.
THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK, ME BEING A HUGE SCIFI FAN THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST STARWARS BOOKS EVER WRITTEN. I WAS GLAD TO GIVE IT FIVE STARS.
This book would have been more appropriately titled Star Wars: The Art of Shadows of the Empire.
While this book showcases most if not all of the Star Wars art by the Brothers Hildebrandt, it centers on the SotE story. It has all of their many paintings depicting the story in chronological order, along with quotes from the book, photos of their various models and references, early sketches, them at work, and commentary on their creative process. All of the art is beautifully rendered on the glossy pages.
After the are depicting the main story, there are 10 large portraits, one each of all the main characters, which are, if anything, more breathtaking than the story paintings, followed by six renditions of the characters’ ships, including the stinger and virago. After that there are six paintings of Boba Fetts adventures in the comics and six paintings of Dash’s adventures in the game. If you are a star wars or SotE or just a sci-fi art enthusiast, you should have this book. Forget the SotE comic, this one is much more well done and it is simply stunning.
I place very high recommendation on this book.
This book is a wealth of great Clone Wars trivia for the ultimate little fan. It was a big hit and well worth the money. The illustrations inside the book and layout of the book is well done. Very happy with this purchase.
This book was received in a timely manner and was in good condition. Very happy with my purchase, thank you!
My six-year old nephew is going to love this book. Though it is above his reading level, it’s full of 144 pages of photos that will hold his attention.
What could be more appropriate than to talk about The Clone Wars Visual Guide on the day that the second season of the animated series of The Clone Wars opens on TV? The Visual Guide offers the reader an excellent look at the first season. The book is packed with shots from the series and explanations of what you are looking at. We learn about individuals such as the Jedi, clone troopers, Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Jabba the Hutt, etc. The various types of ships and weapons are covered, and brief scenes from some of the episodes are included.
This book is far from heavy reading as it lives up to its name by being predominately visual. The idea is to look at and study at your leisure many of the things you enjoyed watching in the TV series. The presentation of the material in the book is excellent, and the quality is first-rate.
I recommend that any fan of The Clone Wars take a look at The Visual Guide. I am confident that you will enjoy it, and I believe you may find reasons to go back and look at it again numerous times.
Bought it, thought Lucas Arts would have a Win 7 patch, but nooooooo. It’s is not backwards compatible either. Don’t buy until Lucas Arts gets its act together!!!
It’s missing from the title, but if you missed this game back in 2002, it’s included in this great package of Star Wars games. You get to play as Kyle Katarn, the hero of all the Dark Forces games, after he became one of the first of the new Jedi in Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and then separated himself from the Force after what happened in Dark Forces 2: Mysteries of the Sith expansion pack. He went back to Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Academy and received more training, but then became convinced that he might fall to the Dark Side, and he gave his newly made lightsaber to Luke for safekeeping. Now it’s 7 or so years later, and Kyle Katarn is once again a mercenary for hire with his longtime partner Jan Ors, working for the New Republic headed by Mon Mothma. Kyle doesn’t want to mess with the Force ever again, but something happens in the game that requires him to reconnect with the Force and finally accept his destiny.
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was at the top of the best of the PC games lists when it debuted and for good reasons. It begins as a fast paced FPS with some fairly difficult levels and then it becomes the best Jedi game yet made. The story is well told and mature and the game design will immerse you in a genuine Star Wars environment. The lightsaber combat system is still the best (along with it’s sequel, Jedi Academy) and that’s the reason there are so many people still playing this game and why The Best of Star Wars PC is the best value for your gaming money.
These games are very fun. This package is a deal and each of these games are very fun. Knights of the Old Republic is one of the best role-playing games I have ever played, Empire at war is a great real time strategy game that allows for to keep track of both space and ground assaults, Jedi Outcast is a very fun first person shooter that immerses you in the star wars universe, Star wars battlefront is another first person shooter that puts you in many great battles, and republic commando is another very great first person shooter, though it may be a bit short. This is a great deal for a set of great games.
I find the title “Best of” misleading, if not insulting.
A “Best of PC” Star Wars pack should include the first two Dark Forces titles and Tie Fighter.
In the mid to late 90’s, Lucas Arts shelled out hit after hit. Now, deep in the 2000’s, the company is flailing.
If anything, these titles are the best of this century. And aside from Knights of the Old Republic, they are still B average games.
Commando is fun, but short. Battlefront is hectic but becomes repetative, and Total War at it’s core is just a mediocre Real Time Strategy game.
Knights of the Old Republic was a great game, and we have Bio-Ware to thank for it. Lucas just allowed them to use his franchise.
I grew up with Lucasarts, but somewhere around 2001 it abandoned me. Episode I came out and the creative spark died, as if for 15 years writers and game designers had created a beautiful fort in the living room, but then dad came home (Old Man Lucas) and tore it down. “Star Wars is a kids show, with Jar Jar and goofy slapstick! Now make me video games that reflect this disney-fied lowest-common-denominator audience!”
