I am so impressed that there was no bad language or sex in the movie. I am not sure if the mom had a live in boyfriend or not but if she did they didn’t focus on it so your kid may not even pay attention to it. Being a Ben Stiller movie it was not as funny as I expected because I was expecting a laugh all the way through and loud movie but it was a normal comedy. I am giving it a 5 star rating because it had top-notch actors and the creators and actors were able to keep it clean, something rare in the movies.
How much would all this be worth?

I actually saw part 2 first before seeing part 1. And I must say Part 1 is way better and is the best of the two. It’s very funny, Robin Williams has more time in the movie and the movie is fun to watch.
Too many of the self-professing comedies coming out of Hollywood these days are unfunny rubbish and not worth the time of day, let alone the price of a DVD.
‘Night at the Museum’ however is a rare treat.
A guy down on his luck takes up a night watchman job at a museum where all the exhibits come to life at night. A very cool concept that should set the viewers up for a very entertaining movie. But does it actually work? Yes it does. Is it actually funny? Yes it is.
A well written movie with excellent casting, acting, and dialogue. The special effects are very well done.
There is a lot to like about this movie.
A truckload of GENUINE laughs to be had here.
Go grab the popcorn and enjoy.
If you like Ben Stiller as an actor you should get this movie. Very similiar to the first Night at the Museum but with a little twist. Good Blu Ray to buy!
We bought this to watch with our 4 and 7 year old granddaughters. The 7 year old loved it, especially the dinosaur chasing the bone and the saucy little monkey. It might have been above the 4 year old level in the beginning. She seemed to think it might be a scary movie at first, but in a little while she enjoyed it, too.
