Free Relevant Facts On Darth Sidious

Not only do you get palpatine bu you also get darth sidious which I believe is the first and only time that Sideshow Toys has done this so far. The likeness of both figures is spot on, if only the paint jobs were more like the the photos on the box, but still great figures nonetheless. The costumes and all accessories are nothing short of amazing just as sideshow continues to do with all its figures. Star wars fans and general collectors should def get this figure.

in the movie star wars what did master windu mean when he fought darth sidious?
he was talking about the oppression of the sith in episode 3. did the sith have a previous history of ruling the universe before the jedis came to power?

My son received this as a gift and he loves it. He had wanted Emporer Palpatine, but we couldn’t find him by himself, so this worked great. The light sabers are pretty small and hard to keep in the figures hands, but my son doesn’t need them. He uses his imagination and has great battles without them. The figures are pretty durable. My son is 5 and he hasn’t destroyed them.

This was the first ever battle pack I had ever bought when they first came out and it still leaves a lot to be disired. Dont get me wrong, four jedi and one sith in a battle pack would be great, but these figures are just poor quality. Almost all of the lightsabers in this pack broke within a day, and the figures did’nt even hold the sabers anyways. This pack would be fun if were better quality.

This is an excellent 3.75 inch action figure of STAR WARS’ own Mr. Charm School himself, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious (aka Senator Palpatine, Chancellor Palpatine, the Emperor, and the “Master” in “Yes, my Master”). Played by Ian McDiarmid, he’s appeared in every STAR WARS film.

Darth Sidious is wonderfully creepy in his black cowl and robes. His face is partly conealed and the hood of his robe is not removable. Although he comes with his hands clasped before him, the figure looks more effective with his arms opened and outreaching—the long drape of the sleeves gives him a batlike appearance which is surprisingly scary.

He comes with a Comm-Tech chip as a stand (a chip reader is necessary to access the talking feature) but disappointingly lacks any accessories, even a lightsaber or Force lightning, either of which would seem de riguer for the old misanthrope. To get either you’ll have to steal one from another Jedi or Sith figure in your collection, something, I’m sure, of which Darth Sidious would approve.
